Welcome to Mini Doers Club!

November 2, 2026 · Make · Play · Discover

Hi friends,

This is it — our very first newsletter. We've been planning Mini Doers Club for months: two moms, a kitchen table covered in craft supplies, and a big belief that little kids do their best learning with their hands busy and their bodies moving.

Lauren brings the classroom — she's a certified teacher who knows how to set up an activity so a three-year-old can follow along and still surprise you. Nicole brings the clinic — as a doctor of physical therapy, she builds the games so every wobble, jump, and pinch is quietly building a stronger, steadier kid.

We'll keep you posted on what's coming up: our events with times and locations, one simple craft you can try at home, and a little movement idea for wiggly afternoons. Short and sweet — you'll read it in under two minutes.

We're so glad you're here. Come make something with us!

The week (and month) ahead

New club events are being planned right now — we'll add them here as soon as they're set.

Try it at home: Paper-Bag Pumpkin

  1. 1. Stuff a brown paper lunch bag about three-quarters full with crumpled scrap paper and twist the top closed. Secure it with a green pipe cleaner — that's your stem.
  2. 2. Paint the bag orange (or use crayons — no-mess option!) and let it dry.
  3. 3. Glue on a paper face or draw one with markers. Squishing, twisting, and pinching the bag is sneaky fine-motor practice, courtesy of Nicole.

Wiggly afternoon? Freeze Dance — with a twist

Play freeze dance, but call out how to freeze: freeze on one foot, freeze crouched low, freeze standing on tiptoes. Holding those poses builds balance and body control — and the giggles are a bonus.

Know a family who'd like this?

Forward them this page, or send them here to join the list — we'll keep them posted on what's coming up.
