About us

Our Story

Mini Doers Club was founded by two professionals who share a passion for childhood development, education, and meaningful play.

With backgrounds in physical therapy and special education, we wanted to create something that combined our professional knowledge with the magic of childhood creativity.

We believe children learn best when they're engaged, exploring, and having fun.

Through our thoughtfully designed activity kits, sensory experiences, creative workshops, and movement classes, we aim to give children opportunities to build confidence, explore new interests, and practice important developmental skills through play.

At Mini Doers Club, every activity is an opportunity to play, create, and discover.

What we care about

Make something real

Every child leaves with something they made themselves — and the pride that comes with it.

Move the way kids do

Sessions are built around how growing bodies actually develop strength, balance, and coordination.

Family friendly, always

Grown-ups are welcome to join in. No pressure, no perfect crafts, plenty of mess.

What sets us apart

Everything is designed on purpose

Every kit, party box, and class we make is thoughtfully designed, created, and built around two specific areas of expertise: Lauren's background in special education and Nicole's in physical therapy. Before anything reaches your table, we plan it backwards from the skills it is building — and we keep asking whether a three-year-old can really do it, whether it leaves room for a kid's own ideas, and whether it's genuinely fun.

Gross & fine motor skills

Pinching, pouring, cutting, hopping, balancing, reaching — every activity is chosen to strengthen small hand muscles and big-body coordination in ways that actually build.

Built around imaginative play

A craft is never just a craft — it's a mission, a story, a job to do. Kids stay engaged far longer when the pretend comes first and the project follows.

Creativity, with room for it

Clear steps get children to a finished piece they're proud of, then leave open space for their own colors, choices, and ideas. No two come out alike.

Attention, detail, following directions

Steps are short, materials are laid out in order, and the visuals are borrowed straight from the classroom — so kids practice staying with a task and noticing the small stuff.

Emotional regulation

Predictable routines, a calm beginning and ending, and plenty of grace for big feelings when the glue stick doesn't cooperate. Frustration is part of the plan, not a problem.

Textures & senses

Materials are picked to be touched, smelled, squished, and explored — giving children a safe, low-pressure way to investigate the world around them.

  • Fall Craft Kit

I just purchased the Fall Craft Kit for my daughter's friend whose birthday party we're attending. It's such a great gift idea for anyone who loves to craft. The instruction cards are so detailed and helpful. I love how all the required materials are already included and you get several different crafts in one box. Thanks Mini Doers Club. I will definitely purchase more for my kids and for gift options in the near future. Great product.
